What size do I need for shoulders?

That depends on what you are using it for for your shoulders. I use it for stretching my entire back including shoulders. Mine is 18X6 and i wouldn't want it any shorter for rolling over larger areas such as the shoulders. Any bigger may be too big

can foam rollers be used for scatica

Hi, YES as this video demonstrates. (http://info.illinoisbackpain.com/relieve-back-pain-without-surgery-tip-1-1-0-0-0-1?utm_campaign=Sciatica+Stretches&utm_source=hs_automation&utm_medium=email&utm_content=11744553&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8RbXf5LkcMT34udwUOJ4m8wAylfjkPfQQANXiDkGYK62aCGabBEHhkbJcblDKOBfHALZ7T_c5XMWqrpCmZ-6tIPvcRMg&_hsmi=11744553)...Copy this URL into your browser and check it out. I am not affiliated with the Illinois Back Pain Institute, but since attending a rehab there for three months as an outpatient over three ago, for severe chronic back pain (when a neurosurgeon refused to operate, and suggested that I try them out.) Since completing the rehab I have not missed one single day of work as a result of my back acting up. This video demonstrates how to use the roller for sciatica pain and I use it any day I don't go to the gym. I would urge you to sign up for their emails (no obligation) and you will get up to 10 emails and videos on all the stretches you can do to eliminate pain. I no longer fear this pain as I can go directly to the stretches and I am good to go again. I hope this helps you....jgriffin
