I have a J3 cowon, amazing sound. got it used years ago, works great. sound has to be heard to be believed. that is all.

It looks like new with origin box. Everything is fine. I received with an extra TF card. Very good seller.

ottimo prodotto , suono meraviglioso e versatilità estrema molto intuitivo nell'uso quotidiano. unico neo la durata della batteria con file flac non và oltre le 6 ore , ma risulta solo un dettaglio da non considerare troppo , per la resa che dà . per chi non si accontenta e che vuole lanciarsi nella grande spesa , che non è certamente da poco , ma vale veramente tutti i soldi spesi . è consigliatissimo

Gran sonido con grandes matices que permiten sus diversas ecualizaciones, el mejor reproductor que he probado, y creo que es el mejor hasta la fecha , para mi mejor que los astell & kern, tiene un sonido mas completo y lleno de matices puedes ecualizar como mas te guste, poniendo mas o menos graves, timbres y diversos sonidos complementarios que lo hacen único. Muy satisfecho con la compra. Totalmente de acuerdo con el comentario ya expuesto anteriormente, de otro comprador, inmejorable.

J'ai longuement hésité au vu du prix élevé mais après avoir consulté de nombreux tests j'ai fini par craquer en me disant qu'au pire je pourrais toujours le renvoyer... Et bien je ne le rendrais pour rien au monde! J'avais un ibasso dx80 et honnêtement ça n'a rien à voir. Un pur bonheur d'écouter flac et hi-res audio. De plus la partie logicielle est simple et intuitive et l'écran répond bien. Il est couplé à un casque ouvert beyerdynamics t90 à forte impédance, le résultat est magnifique. Je recommande.

I’ve been using for a few months now so have some confidence for a review. My previous player was a Cowon X7 and I think I gave it 2 stars. It was awful in every respect except sound and battery life. So why another Cowon, and why did I wait until the X7 died? Simply that sound quality is important to me. Creative labs and iPods etc don’t come close. I researched every “quality” player (except A&K high end because of the price) before committing to Cowon again, but every one has it’s quirks that require you to struggle to get them to behave. Two points that gave me hope were that this only played music – nothing else, and the connection is a standard micro usb – so Cowon is listening to the customer. Everything that made the X7 so bad is fixed. It reads the metadata and sorts into genre. Prodding the screen while playing views things in slightly different ways, so I can actually see info I want (including bringing up info from the “lyrics” section of a file so you can add notes such as band members or recording data). I simply dumped all my files on the thing and it worked. My main music section is Jazz and I put that on a micro sd. Again, out of the box, no formatting needed and it just worked. You can’t run out of space as you can swap micro sd, and the time it takes to update is quick. It’s so easy that after transferring my music, I just listened. The screen responsiveness is fine, the layout is fine; the whole experience is so different to the last time. The sound will have both supporters and detractors. Everything is beautifully clear. Separation is just right, not extreme; everything differentiated but balanced as a whole. And now the weird thing – it’s like listening to vinyl without the clicks, like one of those horrendously priced Japanese pressings fresh out of the sleeve. That sharp clarity you can get with digital has had the edges rounded off a bit. I absolutely love the sound, but I suspect some may prefer the more edgy sound. And it makes listening for long periods a pleasure. Battery life isn’t so great, but not bad, I get 5 cds on one charge. I found while charging (2amp) and playing through my Naim system at the same time I was still draining the battery, though not the case on a less demanding system. A bit counter intuitive to my mind. And yes, Naim system with HiCaps etc and it’s a lovely sound. This is not just for headphones. If you turn it on its side it shows the albums as little record cover squares. I love this, but it needs the cover to be embedded in the file, not just in the folder. The order is by album name and you can't seem to change this. I would prefer by artist or at least genre. I also had some that wouldn’t play, but a firmware update seems to have fixed that. Lastly, if the Plenue 1 is just too pricey have a look at the Plenue M. Not the same processor, but probably a very good compromise.
