The hob does work well following the additional instructions provided

**Q: I assume you can not use both boost functions at the same time other wise the amps would be nearly 16amps even at 240V**
A: I returned the one I bought as information on Amazon said it was 2800w with a 13amp plug. Product arrived saying 3500w on the back of the unit and the information booklet said you needed to install it with a 32amp mini circuit breaker! Consequently you can’t just plug it in and use it . Nice looking appliance though - flex n 13amp plug measures about 1 metre if helpful to anyone.

**Q: Why can we not see the on/off and temperatures shown on the hob**
A: On/Off and power level  are displayed on the operation interface.Are displayed on the operation interface.

**Q: Ohm’s law states that w ÷ v = a, therefore when using the boost function 3800w/240v=15.8 amps. is this safe to use on a standard 13amp plug?**
A: I have never tried using the boost function on both rings at the same time, i dont see any reason why anyone would need to. that said it is something users should be aware of as it would trip something.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb induction hob

Fabulous! I saw James Martin using single plate induction hobs on his Saturday morning show on TV and really admired them; perfect for a cooking space I have, except that mine is a summer area under cover. I wanted something compact that I could plug in without permanent wiring and that could be semi-permanent and this two plate design is superb. With a little jiggery-pokery for setting it into a removable section of worktop I have easily got exactly what I needed. The plug in thinking is genius, it's saved me approaching an electrician to do things for us. I can see this being really useful for anyone with a small cooking space where there's no readily available wiring but there's access to a socket. It works fantastically well, as well as looking the part. I love the compact two plate nature. Controls are fantastic and it heats up much more quickly than I thought it would. One of the star ratings for this is "easy to clean" and I have to say that as it's a glass induction hob the usual cleaning rules apply! It's really good quality so I'm bowled over with this for the price.
