Works as designed

Worked perfectly for my application, use it on one of my factory Harley connectors and it mated up well. Great connection easy to assemble and came with instructions. Worth the money.

Matched right up with the factory connectors in my ranger boat. Really easy to use.

Used for speaker install. These worked really well. However they should really include extra contacts. I ended up soldering mine on instead of crimping.

These are fantastic connectors. You need to pay attention to which pieces go on the mail side and which pieces go on the female side. Just look at the pictures on Amazon and you can tell. You will need a good crimping tool or else need to solder the pins on. I have an old aircraft surplus crimping tool which worked okay.

I've been using these Deutsch connectors for years and you know, I've really grown to appreciate their design and function. They're very water resistant for most applications and while there is a learning curve and special tools are required to utilize these, the small investment is absolutely worth every penny. If you're using these for the first time, I would definitely recommend watching a few YouTube videos to give you a heads up as to how these work as it's a bit confusing your first time. Once you're up and running, you'll wonder why you've never used anything but these.

I had to replaced a bilge pump on my boat. The old connector was a Deutsch connector and all I wanted to do was to replace the male plug. I bought these and it fit with the Deutsch female plug perfect. I didn’t have to swap out both sides.

First of all, the people that are saying these are bad, or the locks not going in, must not know how to use the product. I ordered a set of the 4 pin connectors and used them in an install today, and everything went flawless. I have zero complaints so far. Now, I cannot comment on the longevity of the product and how well the housing will hold up, I'm not sure what it's made of, but I'm not very concerned, especially when these are a fraction of the cost of the TE brand.

Pretty straight forward, make sure you solder pins to the wires for best connections.
