Crochet Yarn kit, 24 Soft Cotton Yarn skeins, 1500+ Yards, for Crochet and Knitting, Craft DK Yarn, Free Crochet/Amigurumi Patterns, Perfect Starter kit

This yarn is very soft and just the right thickness I needed to make headbands for my twin granddaughters. It is made of 80% cotton and 20% milk fiber. This is my first time using milk fiber cotton. It’s easy to work with and the colors are vibrant. The kit comes with 2 crochet needles, stitch markers, a yarn needle, and eye pins for those who do amigurumi or small stuffed projects. I used almost a whole skein for a baby headband with a flower, so it’s very suitable for small projects. Great for beginners. I love the handled bag the yarn is showcased in. It can be used to carry small projects. I will need to get another one to be able to make a second headband for the days my granddaughters are twinning. I recommend this kIt to anyone on the fence about its quality. It would definitely make a great gift.

This yarn has a very soft. The colors are bright & pleasing. The kit contains all the needles, stitch markers & eyes needed to make so soft, squishy stuffed animals. I'd buy it again!

I bought the 10 skein kit from LovLim and haven’t found another yarn I like as well! When I saw the 24 skein kit I jumped at having so many options. Pros: Still soft, colors are lovely, additional items are always handy Cons: Each skein is 60 m rather than the advertised 70, which means I will get a lot less mileage out of these colors. As others have reviewed, the “cool” colors are significantly less vibrant than the warm colors. There are eight variations of red/pink, five of yellow/orange, and only two blues and two (pale) greens. Overall, I’ll certainly use the set but may not repurchase such small skeins in the future.

I would highly highly recommend this kit for a beginner or even an experienced Amigurumi crafter. I got it because I wanted to give Amigurumi a try and the patterns I wanted to try were colorful & I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a million different colored full sized skeins of yarn from michaels if it wasn’t going to end up being something I liked. I also wanted to give cotton yarn a try since I had never worked with it before. This yarn did not disappoint. It is buttery soft & I love it. If you’re a beginner I would stick to a lighter color until you’re more comfortable with knowing exactly where your next stitch is with Amigurumi the stitches get pretty tight & you’re working in the round most of the time so if you’re using a dark color it can be frustrating to know for sure if you’re getting all your stitches right because it’s hard to see with the darker colors (that’s the case with all the dark yarns ive worked with with Amigurumi & it’s not a negative reflection on this particular yarn) I don’t know what other uses you could get from 24 different colors of small skeins besides Amigurumi, I personally wouldn’t use this for regular crocheting because you will run out of your colors in about 5 seconds haha. But for those looking to give Amigurumi a try or just expand your color collection this is a very nice kit. The kit claims it comes with a code that gets you into their free patterns, I could not find that code anywhere so I contacted the seller & they got back to me within I think an hour & gave me a code. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend!

Pros: The LovLim yarn pack is a decent yarn kit for people trying to make amigurumi/ crochet toys for the first time. You got a decent selection of colours, the yarn is soft and is not too thin. Darning needle and markers are included. No chemical smell. Soso: Crochet hook serves purpose but suggest to invest in a decent one with a handle. Yarn tends to split. Came across balls where segments of yarn where tied together 2-3 times which is acceptable for amigurumi but not granny squares or small garments. Cons: It's probably not 100% cotton but a cotton blend. I did a burn test and the yarn burns like acrylic yarn. The yarn melts and leaves no ash. I could smell burned paper which indicates that cotton is part of the composition. I have also ordered milk cotton yarn from other Chinese suppliers and many of them list their yarns as cotton blend, usually around 70-80% cotton and 20-30% milk yarn. Milk yarn from China is usually made with acrylonitrile which explains why LovLim milk cotton yarn burns like acrylic.

I loved the kit - especially all the notions that came with it. Decent tapestry needles, a couple of crotchet hooks, and even some safety eyes, along with 24 skeins - for under $30 its a great introduction to crochet. Even the plastic bag it comes in is useful for projects. I was also really impressed with the colors. Though, my only quibble with the yarn colors is that - while the red/orange/yellow side of the color wheel is lush and amazing , the blue/green/turquoise side is a little anaemic, without the gorgeous saturated jewel tones of the red family skeins. I would have loved to have seen some deep blues and dark greens with the same intensity and variety of the reds. Overall, its a great intro into crochet - the yarn is lovely and easy to work with, and the extras included mean that beginners don't have to buy hooks, needles, etc. in addition

This is very soft yarn to work with not like other cotton yarn that you have to get use to Woking with .
