I am a 45year old man and I have had plaque psoriasis since I was 5 years old. I have learnt to manage and live with it. A couple of years ago, I had a strep throat infection, following which my psoriasis got exacerbated and it changed forms from plaque to guttate psoriasis. I was covered in lesions. It went from 5% coverage to 95% coverage in a span of a few weeks. Needless to say, I was devastated! I tried gluten free and dairy free diet. I was on a complete raw diet for over three months, my skin started to improve and the psoriatic lesions started to calm down. By the end of three months, my psoriatic lesions went down by 50%, but then the effects kind of plateaued. I was not sure what else I could try. I thought I was taking all the right supplements from curcumin to zinc to reduce inflammation. I was thankful for the progress but also felt like I hit a brick wall. A friend suggested that I look into probiotics to help replenish my gut bacteria. I tried a few different probiotics for a few months and I saw marginal improvement in my condition. I was not sure if taking probiotics was worth my effort and money. Over Thanksgiving, a friend mentioned Gut Mate to me. I was not very hopeful but decided to give it a shot. A couple of days into taking them, some of the lesions looked less red, like they were trying to calm down. I did not think much of it, thinking that it was my mind pulling wool over my eyes. I did notice that the shape and color of my bowel movements changed. I also felt less heavy. A few weeks in, some of the spots disappeared, the new lesions stopped emerging and the most exciting part is that my JOINTS FELT FREE!!! I stopped feeling like a robot and a few yoga poses that I previously could not do were starting to become accessible. Helps psoriasis! I have Psoriasis on the palms of my hands. I’ve always felt that my psoriasis stems from leaky gut issues. I found this and gave it a whirl. I really think it’s helping. I recommend!
