Unbelievably amazing!
Why I bought this: I work near the beach and have an hour lunch break. I wanted something where I can head over on my lunch break, float around and get all tranquil and crap, and keep in my car. I wanted to be in the water, but not have to keep myself afloat. Basically, I wanted to be immersed in water and look at the clouds. How this works: It takes a few breaths to blow up, much like a balloon. That's it, though. Very minimalistic effort. You put it in the water and sit in the mesh seat. It's much bigger than I thought it would be. I'm 5 foot 2 and 180 pounds, and it could have fit a whole lot more of me. When I laid back in it, I had inflatable ring under my neck, lower than my knees, and around my elbows as I starfish laid out in the ocean. I didn't reach the bottom of the seat laying like this. In this position, as I laid fully back, only the top of my body surface was out of the water (it covered my head up to the middle of my forehead and almost to the corners of my eyes, my chest and fronts of my legs were exposed to 'not water', everything else was in the cool 82 degree ocean). Why I like it: I can lay in it perfectly, just like I wanted. It's plenty big enough for me. It's super easy to inflate and deflate, and it stores in a flat, tiny space. What I don't like about it: Not sure I can find a single thing I don't like at this point. Ending note: I love this thing, and I am about to buy a second one to keep in my trunk in case anyone wants to lunch with me. I'm really impressed with this seat, and so glad I found it!

It works great if you want to float while being submerged
Neat idea. It works great if you want to float while being submerged. My husband of 230lbs was looking for a chair for the water like this one but I think this needs a bit of a lighter person. That being said, the kids like it. The baby's can stand in it and still be in the water (with supervision of course) it's a good pool float. It doesn't seem to have a air plug when blowing up so when you stop blowing and try to push the plug in you lose a lot of air. That's the only downfall I can tell.

Easy to use and good value
Love the comfort and security of these floats and the added feature of being able to link them together makes for good times and great conversation while floating in the water! They don't take up much room in the boathouse even when ring is inflated.

Quality is nice and I think it will hold up fine
Quality is nice and I think it will hold up fine. My husband, who is 6', fits into it perfectly and enjoys it. The problem is that we bought it for me and at 5'2" it swallows me up! My legs aren't heavy enough to weigh down the rim in front and my head isn't high enough to reach the rim in back, so basically I just end up folded in half and submerged or stretched out stiffly trying to lie balanced on the thing. If there were a children's sized one of these I'm sure I'd love it, as it is, I can't recommend this to my fellow petites!

These "float-a-round chairs" (sometimes called "papasan floats") win for best pool floats--they're a comfortable way to float in
These "float-a-round chairs" (sometimes called "papasan floats") win for best pool floats--they're a comfortable way to float in the pool and have a good vantage point to watch the kids or have a conversation (all while leaving hands free for a beverage). This model supports an over six foot male that weighs around 230 quite comfortably--so the 250 weight limit advertised is probably accurate. My one complaint is with the netting on this model. We always take ours out of the pool when not in use (we don't rinse them off, but who rinses pool floats?), but netting is already beginning to break down in some spots after just one season. Not enough to compromise use yet, but I didn't expect the float to break down so fast.

Best thing ever for lounging in the pool
Besides the swimsuits, this was the best thing we took on our caribbean vacation!! We used it everyday in the pool and in the ocean. It was heavenly!!! It folds up and is completely portable with a little case. It was so relaxing and fun. We were the envy of everyone at the resort (someone even tried to rent it from us for $10 for an hour, but we no dice!!) I will alway have one in my pack when I go to the beach or the pool. Buy it!!!!!

best floatie ever
hands down, best float i have ever purchased, and i’ve purchased a lot of floaties. i recently purchased for a group vacation and everyone brought floaties but we all agreed this one was the best because you are mostly in the water the entire time, yet able to relax. it also packs small so is great for traveling. won’t ever buy another floatie again!

Torn seam after 5 uses
I purchased two of these floats and have had them since mid-May this year. My wife and I have used them in our community pool about 5 or so times since receiving them. We were very happy with them initially as they provided good support and are small enough to transport easily. Today at the pool I noticed that one of the floats had a tear in the stitching about two inches wide. My wife and I are retired and I promise that we are not using them to do cannon balls in. LOL. We just lounge in the water on these hot Florida summer days. These are not inexpensive and I paid more for this item as I thought it was a quality float and would, in time, be a better value but unfortunately that was not the case. I would recommend not purchasing these and just get a cheap one.

This is perfect for bobbing about in the pool in
This is perfect for bobbing about in the pool in. Easy to get into, none of this trying to balance on a lilo. Spent hours reading whilst propping my feet on the side of the pool. Easy to inflate with very little effort. Packed into my suitcase with ease. Would think about getting the floating hammock in future, as the seat is well made and got lots of use.

Excelente
