Plug & Play Ready!
Work great to run my 2 CPU cooling fans!

Perfect if you need a small fan!
I have more than my fair share of PC fans and in a flavor of sizes (mostly 120mm and 140mm). I actually use them to keep network equipment cool at my parents house (one is pointed to an Arris SB8200 modem, another for the Asus AC68U). The modem tends to have connectivity issues with lots of uncorrectables when left running as is. After putting a fan on it, blowing directly onto the heatsink, the number of uncorrectables dropped significantly. Since there's no way to easily attach a fan to the modem, I used this adapter and an old USB charger to power up two Cooler Master fans. Even at max RPM (about 1100RPM), the fans are completely silent and keep my parents network problem free. This adapter will force any 2/3/4 pin fan to operate at full speed, so be mindful if this will be in a sound sensitive environment.

Full Power Case Fans
Used for a Be quite case fan I mounted to an xbox. It works well and provides power for what appears to be full power, compared to my be quite fans in my PC.

Does what it should.
Average and works as it should. I’ve only had mine for a few weeks though and I’ve managed to pull the chord cover out of its holding.

Just what i needed
Does exactly what i need it to, no over-complicating things. Nice that i can use any power brick, although since its running two fans speeds can differ depending on the power of the brick.

Simple little thing that works.
I have a little mini 'industrial pc' that I use as a router, and well it's fanless. No place to fit a reasonably sized fan inside the little case. So I used this, connected to an AC USB charger I had, to connect two fans on the outside of that little PC. One on top blowing on the cooling fins, and one on the bottom blowing into the vent holes, using velcro to attach them. No jerryrigging them to some (I think) fan connectors on the inside of the case and hoping it would work. This simple little device just made it easy to hook them up.

Does what it says on the box.
While you can't see the wire in this picture, you can see it hard at work. I bought this to retrofit a set of old spare 120mm case fans into my curio to intake air over my ps5. The fans get their power from the ps5 itself via this wire. If using for another purpose make sure it's plugged into usb3, usb2 might not have enough power. I noticed a difference in power between my modem and ps5. Ps5 gave it allot more juice.

EASY PC FAN CONNECTION!
Took off side panel of PC to vaccuum and blow out. The side panel fan connector came off...and could not find it. It was a 3 or 2 pin male connector. This inexpensive connector with 3 pin female went into an open USB port on back of PC. Came through the side panel back left corner, not drilling required. EZ solution, and the original an still works, so returned the fans I ordered.

Do you own a fan that needs more power? Well, that's where this 12 Volt cable comes in. Depending on your use case, extremely useful.

I was surprised at the quality of the cable. The wire gauges are thick and a stiff braided sleeve and heat shrink have been applied. They went the extra mile and put some adhesive where the heat shrink meets the stress relief to anchor the sleeve to the wires. It also has a 4-pin female connector so you can use PWM fans, and not just the 3-pin variety. This cable came coiled, not folded and twisty tied (I hate when they do that, cables take forever to straighten out). Even the resealable bag it came in was thick.

Does exactly what I needed — powered my PC fans from a USB port without a hitch. Clean, efficient, and well made!

Used to run 4 pin fan from USB on router. Spot on!

As several other recent reviews have mentioned, this is not a 12V step up from 5V cable. It outputs 5V, it's a standard cable. Measured with a multimeter on output of 4.98V.
