Caught multiple mice and DOESNT LET THEM ESCAPE
I wish I would have found this multi-catch trap sooner because it works.... it catches multiple mice at a time and DOESNT ALLOW THEM TO ESCAPE. If your new to the mice trapping game you may be saying how could a mouse escape ? Well before buying this trap I bought plastic traps and the after the mice is trapped they scratch and chew the plastic until the latch holding them in breaks. The mice escape and the plastic trap no longer works. But these traps are made of METAL. The mice can chew all they want but they cannot escape. This trap has made life a lot easier. We have a mice problem in our attic which is only a crawl space with pull down stairs. Its a pain to keep going up there. So the fact that this trap catches and holds multiple mice at time is fantastic. We open it once a day and it's caught at least 1 and I've had up to 3 at a time every night. I use peanut butter and they cannot resist it. Within 30 minutes of putting the trap out a mouse goes in and gets caught. They walk through the opening, over what looks like a tiny metal seesaw and once their weight transfers over it, it closes and they cannot get out. The clear lid allows you to see if there are mice inside and then it opens and you can release them. It advertises it can hold up to 12 mice which I guess is true space wise if they were babies but more realistic I'd say it could hold 8 adult field mice if they were dumb enough to enter when it's packed with mice. SOME TIPS: Use peanut butter, it works great. I posted pictures to show where I had the most success with putting peanut butter. If it's too close to the sides they can reach in through holes on the outside and eat it without entering the trap. The fresher the peanut butter the better. You don't need a lot but the smell is strongest when you first put it out. I've had the most success at night. They come out when it's dark and quiet so I empty the trap in the day and leave it ready to catch more overnight. Hope this helps, Good luck !

Safely rehomed a family of 7 mice
We were watching tv one night when a mouse ran across the floor and under the couch. Apparently it was mama mouse and was building a home inside the back of the couch. **Note: this room is above the garage and the mouse must've come in through the hole where the heating pipes are, which have been resealed. I first bought the single size black plastic lever trap and caught one large mouse within a day using crunchy peanut butter. Fast forward a few days and I saw a very small baby in the basement so I bought this metal trap in case there were others. And THERE SURE WERE! For 3 days in a row I set it up with peanut butter on the sides you can see thru the viewing window and caught the rest. The first day there were 3 babies then the second day 2 more. On the third day there was just one larger mouse, assuming it was the papa mouse. The trap functions well and the lever action keeps them in once they go over it. With the baby mice they were hard to see as they would hide back inside the tunnels. I didn't know how many I caught until I shook the open trap and they hopped out. For years I used the snap traps but with a nature loving spouse and daughter, this was the best option and they even came along for the ride to release them into a field a mile away. A quick rewash and fresh peanut butter and it's ready to go with years (hope not) of potential use ahead.

Very good trap
This trap works very well but doesn't seem to catch mice as well as the regular multi catch traps not designed for corners. The clear top is great for checking to see if a mouse is in the trap without having to touch the trap. If you put seeds inside the trap, make sure that none become wedged under the ramps or the ramp will not raise as far as designed and the trapped mouse may be able to pull the edge of the ramp down and escape. I purchased this trap and one of the long traps not designed for corners (straight trap), placed them in my garage and caught mice in both the first night. The straight trap consistently caught more mice than the corner trap but more than likely due to placement more than anything since the trapping mechanism (spring ramps) appear to be identical in both traps. This trap does work very well and I am very pleased with my purchase.

DID NOT WORK. Mouse ate bait+got OUT.
I ordered 2 of these live mouse traps back in May. We'd gone thru a lot of work to try to mouse-proof both the house and garage, but I wanted to put some traps out just in case any rodents did manage to get in. I have 2 pet cats that live in a section of the garage (have cat allergy sufferers among the household), +which play in the larger part of garage when supervised/when no risk of vehicles coming/going. 1 of my cats has a medical condition for which he requires terribly expensive prescription food (just shy of $90 a bag right now!). In the past we'd had rodents try to go after this, despite it being in a plastic cat food bin that closes tight. They had tried to chew thru it to the food back then. I absolutely can't afford to have them get in and contaminate a bag, OR put our health at risk (2 cancer patients in household). Hence had a pest professional help us catch those that were hiding in house+garage at the time, +worked with us to mouse proof both. Had to do a lot of mouse proofing and cleaning/disinfecting thereafter. But sometimes, especially in Summer when it gets really hot, doors can get left open to air out areas+I wanted some (cat safe) traps just in case. One I put in our basement (so far undisturbed) and the other near to the cat's food bin in the garage. I baited both with the fancy cat kibble since clearly these critters go after it. I pass both these areas daily. For months they were both undisturbed. Today (7/22/21) when I went to feed my cats, I did my daily glance at the trap window+immediately noticed the bait was gone. There were also a few fresh mouse droppings in the area. I checked the trap, but despite the bait being eaten there was NO MOUSE INSIDE. I checked with all housemates+none had messed with it. From this I can deduce that, despite purchasing+baiting/setting these traps to CATCH the potential occasional intruder, they don't work to hold any mice in at ALL. I've spent money on what is essentially a mouse feeding station. This is absolutely unacceptable. I feel cheated.

No more mice!!!
Bought 2 and baited with chocolate (learned from an exterminator) and in 3 days NO MORE MICE!!! Caught up to 3 in a trap, 5 in one day. Works great and with the triangular design fit under my cabinet corners and barely show. I can't use poison for risk of dog getting a poisoned mouse and getting sick, plus inhumane. Glue traps should be outlawed and snap traps only get one at a time. It was easy to relocate mice where they wouldn't be a nuisance. Very happy with purchase! Suggestion: paint black so they blend in better.

Pretty effective
I used peanut butter the first night and no mouse the next day. The second day I used chunky peanut butter and laid it on thick. Next day peanut butter still there and no mouse in the trap but on the plus side there is no more signs of mouse activity behind the fridge and I don’t see activity anywhere else. The trap is so effective that it scared the mouse away.

This worked very nicely!
During our renovation our garage door was open most of the day and when we moved in our first batch of boxes, a few mice decided it would be nice to stay at our place. Our kitties like to watch and chase them but since our cats are well fed, that is about as far as they go with the mice. We looked into humane traps (the kill traps are nasty torture devices) and we decided to give this one a try. We put a Ritz cracker topped with a little peanut butter on the inside and set it in our garage. The next day there were two plump mice inside! I took it outside and let them run off in the bushes at the front of our acerage. This trap is simple but effective. You open the top cover flap and add something the mice will smell and like to the trap compartment. The mousies can enter at either of the two of the corners, walking over a little flap to access the food. When they step on the flap from the inside, it activates a trap door sealing off the entrance hole. Once you let them loose, the trap is easy to clean and reuse.

Great product and great price since it can be used OVER AND OVER again.
These are wonderful if you have mice but don't want to kill them. It took a while to figure out exactly how to get the mice to enter the trap and I've found the perfect way....PEANUT BUTTER. I put a dab on the insides of both trap doors which have small holes where the mice can see and smell it but can't get to it unless they enter the trap, and a nice dime sized nugget just out of arm's reach in front of the holes in the front of the trap. Believe me, if it's within arm's reach, they will grab it through the holes and won't enter the trap. (I had a spy cam trained on my trap one night and watched what the mouse did. He started by reaching in and grabbing handfuls of peanut butter. Once it was out of reach, he was desperate to get it and entered the trap) Sometimes it takes a day or two for the mouse to get the courage to go through that small trap door. Don't give up too soon and assume he won't ever go in. He usually does eventually. Do date, I've trapped and relocated about 20 mice! They're cute little guys so I don't want to kill them but they don't belong in my house or garage.

What mice?
Bought for my mum. Yet to catch a mouse even with peanut butter! Have tried in various places but mouse just avoids it.

no apto para ratoncitos muy pequeños
El ratón entraba por la carnada y se salía sin problema. Tal vez era demasiado pequeño, no me fue útil :(
