Best topping I have ever bought! My kids eat a lot of popcorn and we have tried many different brands….. this is by far the best!!

Note: I use these with a silicon popper and microwave popcorn kernels. I drizzle a good chuck before popping. I love this stuff. When I was living in Indiana I would go to the Rural King store to buy 5 bottles of these at a time. But now that I moved I cant find these anywhere! Only the generic Kernel Seasons and Orville Redenbacher ones. I tried to live with the Kernel Seasons ones but its just not the same. The Orville Redenbacher ones are just horrible. Anyway I have my fix for now, even if it's way overpriced. I won't be buying as much as I did back home but at least I can get some if I really need it from Amazon. They shipped fine and arrived undamaged. They seem fresh, just the right amount of oil and flavor separating inside the bottle. You don't want too much of either, about an inch or so of oil with the rest being the opaque yellow is a put perfect. Also these don't contain any salt which is nice. I put a lot of MSG covered salt on my popcorn anyway. So far 10/10 experience. Would buy again.

I read all the reviews on all the butter-type toppings for popcorn, especially for hot air popper popcorn. The real thing does not sit well on air-popped popcorn. I tried sprays (one was pretty good); but, I think this one tastes the best in my humble opinion. I have a heavy hand when it comes to buttering my popcorn. Hot-air-popped popcorn is quite dry and needs some kind of liquid topping to make salt or flavored seasonings stick to it. This is about as close to theater popcorn as you can get. I use the Kernel's Ranch and other flavorings (also from Amazon) and popcorn salt. I am not a once-in-a-while-I-think-I'll-have-some-popcorn-type person...it is more like 5 to 7 times a week for more years than I like to count. I have put it on the automatic delivery schedule of Amazon so I am never without it. It is great to use on baked potatoes and vegetables to boot. It does have a tendency to get too thick to shake onto the popcorn; but, I just run the hot water on it while the corn is popping and it is great. I think it is because I keep the air conditioning on to around 63 deg. I think it tastes better than butter and hope they never discontinue making it. God bless

I have become a big fan of Wabash Valley Farms popcorn so thought I'd try their butter topping. Very, very disappointed. It tasted like an oil with a very unpleasant taste. No buttery flavor what so ever. I tried heating it slightly but didn't seem to make any difference. After the bottle is left to set for a couple of hours, it does not look like the picture. The top half is a reddish color oil and the bottom half is the color you see in the picture. Must shake to get it to look like it does in the picture, but still does not change the taste.

From the reviews I was expecting the quality and taste of the movie theater's popcorn. It wasn't so with this product unfortunately. If you don't put salt on the popcorn there's no flavor at all. I use the coconut popcorn oil and popcorn salt but cannot tell any difference with or without this product. I asked several local theaters what they really use (and not what this product's makers claim) and they told me they melt Promise margarine for their corn. Much tastier and a lot less money. This product is mostly palm and some other kind of oil with artificial butter flavoring that looses its taste on the hot popcorn. I really did want to like this product and even purchased 2 based on the comments but both are bland and useless (except adding more oil to the popcorn). I gave it 3 stars because I didn't want to seem like a negatron.

A must for my occasional popcorn prep on Saturday movie night. Easy to use and a really taste adding supplement. Seller description is accurate and the popcorn topping arrived on time. I recommend this seller and this butter popcorn topper.

Following the advice of another reviewer, we made the popcorn in our Elite tabletop popcorn maker (EPM-450) using coconut oil, flavacol, and wabash valley farms buttery topping. The secret is finding just the right amount of flavacol, and you will have "movie theater" popcorn! We found that using the recommended 3/4 tsp per 1/2 cup kernels made it too salty and inedible for some people. Using just under 1/2 tsp was perfect. Either adding the buttery topping, or just letting it sit in the machine for 10-15 minutes, also somehow added to the flavor. At least one reviewer posted that this buttery topping had a "chemical taste" so I almost didn't purchase it! I didn't find that to be the case at all! It strangely seems to have almost no taste by itself, yet when added to the popcorn with the flavacol, adds that "popcorn grease" experience (contains Palm and other vegetable oils) that enhances the other flavors somehow and makes the movie theater experience complete.

i didn't like it because it didn't taste like butter. I even went the extra mile and through some popcorn along with this topping in a hot pan hoping that it will maybe bring the true taste out of it and it didn't. this product tasted more like oil. It was good at greasing my hands up. I even tried sniffing this thing to see if it smelled like butter and it smelled like nothing instead. i through this item in the garbage.

This topping is perfect for making stovetop popcorn. I love how it makes my popcorn taste! I never want to cook my popcorn without it! But buyer beware. Do not buy this product for anything less than $15. For some reason I've seen the price skyrocket to $50+ and now $100 from some retailers. This bottle is small and NOT worth anything more than $15 (which is $3 more than what I bought it for). I have also seen this brand being carried at KitchenStuffPlus, so definitely look there if you ever want to restock.

While I do like the flavour/texture it imparts on popcorn (with Flavacol seasoning), this topping is far too expensive to become a regular purchase for me, and hence the reason for down starring. You need so much product to get flavour, to the point I might only get 5-7 batches of popcorn made with this topping. Mind you, I LOVE butter, so probably use more topping than most...but I assume most people looking for a way to mimic that movie theatre taste feel the same. I am definitely going to be making clarified butter to add to my popcorn instead of this in the future. Product did ship super fast though and is overall exactly what it says.
