Great for mane and tail on horses.
I am essentially a lazy creature, and I have a back of the property barn, and a front of the property barn. I keep brushes in both barns, I purchased this to keep in my front barn - back barn already has one. Upon receiving this one, I realized how long I had owned my other one. I've had it for at least 5 years, it still works great- and that is AFTER the dog used it as a chew toy, and it was lost for a week. This new one, admittedly, pulls out less hair when using it on the horses manes and tails. These are literally my favorite mane and tail brushes. Easy to hold, clearly durable, clean with hose and soapy water, soft grip for holding and *Bonus not too big for little hands of children.

Great Quality and Price
This brush works really good. My horse gets burr’s all in her mane on a daily basis and this brush gets them out. It is superior quality and solid. Easy to clean. It will last a long time. Great price too!

Fairy braid breaker
This is the best mane and tail brush I've used. My gelding has a thick welshy mane and tail and it gets some serious fairy braids in the windy months. This brush got through that mess!

Super detanglers and mud loosener
These are sturdy, cheap, easy to use. They will quickly and efficiently detangle a mane or tail, especially if used with a detanglers. Another great use is to use them as a curry on caked on mud, expecially round the hooves, ankles, belly and joints. The caked mud just crumbles off in a few seconds. And the horses do not fuss at all.

It was surprising sturdy
I had read reviews about this not holding up. I didn't find that at all, I love this brush. It has helped keep all the manes tangle free.

I use it for my own hair because it's quite thick and dense. Works very well, does the job and is a lot more sturdy than brushes made for humans. Shop smart, not hard, eh?
