Pilot Iroshizuku inks are a joy to use. I use a Pilot Kakuno with Syo-Ro (dew on pine tree), Shin-ryoku (forest green), and Yama-budo (crimson glory vine). They really show off what this line does best: rich color and very smooth, reliable flow. These inks feel buttery and make writing effortless. The colors all feel natural and calming. I'm happy with all 3 color choices: a sophisticated teal, a classic forest green, and a vibrant purple-pink, all with smooth flow and beautiful presence on the page. These are easy to recommend if you enjoy expressive colors that still behave well for everyday use.

It's Yama-Budo. What else is there to say? Wet and smooth, the sheen, the color. It's a favorite for a reason. The bottle design, the quality, the value.

A beautiful ink, well loved for good reason. Drying time isn’t anything special but once it dries, it doesn’t smudge easily. The ink flows well and is very easy to write with.

I have bought 6 colors so far in this series of fountain pens inks by Pilot, all the pinks, to purples and a dark green. I have to admit I got them to paint with at first due to the glorious colors. I also have a large selection of dip pen nibs, and antique fountain pens to try them with on various papers. I am trying them in various coloring books, trying to find the publisher of those books with the best paper for using these inks. The glass bottles they come in are beautiful, the ink is smooth and I am enjoying the explorations. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good quality and unusual colors of calligraphy inks!

Beautiful colors but bleed and writing both sides of the paper will be bothersome

I truly love Pilot Yama-Budo! I have it paired with my Twsbi Vac700r <F> nib, and even with the fine nib, it have decent shading, but really shines with my Asvine v800 with a 1.1 stub. With the fine nib, it drives rather quickly, has very good flow/wetness, and is thoroughly vibrant on various papers (Rhodia 80gsm, Tomoe River 52gsm, Kokuyo Campus, Yamamoto CANOPUS NOTE) just to name a few. Do yourself a favor and pick this up!

Atramenty Pilot iroshizuku są chyba najbardziej polecanymi atramentami w internecie i nie bez powodu. Kolor jest wyjątkowy i sprawdzi się nawet w najbardziej suchym piórze 😉

Una maravilla de tinta, fluye sin problema alguno, luce en casi todo tipo de papel y el tiempo de secado es razonable. Obviamente, mientras uses papel de mejor calidad, más lucirá el color. ¡Para impresionar con una buena letra!

Presented in best Japanese tradition, this product is extremely well crafted chemically to be smooth and flowing from nib. A pleasure to use and has become a staple signature ink.
