A great car kit for the family
As a family of four, we have two cars and always seem to run out of bandaids at home. We looked at pricing a DIY medical kit, but things quickly got expensive and weren't as "self contained" as the individual drug pouches, etc. We look at a lot of kits and many contain a lot of stuff we wouldn't know how to use or what to use them for. These adventure medical kits include essentials, with some nice additions (like Duct tape). These are better priced and equipped than comparable kits (like from your car dealer or some others) and doesn't have a lot of "waste" and have a lot of the stuff I would've gotten on my own in my DIY kit, but at a better overall rate. So, we got 3, 1 that lives in each car and 1 that lives in the house that we take with us on trips (lightweight enough to carry on a hike or even on vacation). Kids inevitably get scrapes and cuts. Parents tend to get headaches. Now, I'll keep an eye on the expiration dates for the medicines in these kits...I would have to anyway if I made my own kit (stuff expires). And while I don't know if the medicines or tape or band aids are brand names or generics in this kit, it's a good price and seems to have everything I've ever needed. It feels good to know that, in the car, I have enough on hand to quickly address an issue for 1-4 people. You can determine whether the smaller kits make more sense...as, let's face it, the odds of 4 people getting injured all at the same time is slight...but, I like the feeling that I have enough "stuff" to quickly apply first aid to my entire family and that I don't have to "skimp" on a dressing because it can handle more than 1 person.

Light weight with the basic first aid items you need...
I bought this first aid kit to carry with us on our trip to the Grand Canyon with our grandkids. We were flying and would be hiking, so I had to be aware of what everything weighed. This kit was light in my suitcase, and in my backpack. Fortunately, we didn't have to use it, other than when my husband scratched his hand while packing his suitcase! LOL! But we had a bandaid, thank goodness! The kit had a little bit of everything we would have needed and was very nicely organized in side the container. I like that because it will make it easy to re-stock it when/if we use items out of it...that reminds me, I need to put a bandaid back into it! :) It seemed a little pricey, but first aid items are expensive, so if I priced out everything that was in there, it may have cost even more. Happy Trails!!

Great little med kit
I did my research before buying this item. I've spoken highly of Adventure Medical Kits in the past and I was not surprised when I received the Ultra-light/Watertight .7. True to its name, the kit is super lightweight (around 6 ounces or so). It comes with the basics as far as quick patch job medical supplies go but the clear DryFlex bag bag still has room to add several more items for customization. I'm going to keep this kit in my personal bug-out bag. I picked up the larger Outfitter kit for my extended getaway bug-out box as well. AMK is the way to go if you want reasonably priced, well thought out, functional, transportable, and easily customizable medical kits.

High quality, ultralight
I love the light weight and the fact that the pouch is water resistant. I always replace the bandaids with better ones, and I add some additional gear and take a few things out. It's rather expensive though for a small kit.

Better safe then sorry!
Perfect for the backpack, good for two people and had room to add a few things.

My lite hiking first aid kit
This will be my kit for one person. It should cover simple issues. I have a 250-piece kit for base camp. Maybe I should have bought the .9, but I have to haul every ounce on the trail.

Nice and compact, pretty light
It's light weight, water proof, and most importantly, it has things I'd need for a hike. I bought 2 of these, one for myself and one for my wife, but I think it's a bit much for 2 people. I think we should have gotten 2 of the .5 kits instead, but we don't have any regrets. The thing I like most about this pack is that it's easy to repack everything back into the bag after taking it all out. I can't say that for all "lightweight" emergency packs.

Our Jeep kit
This replaced our older kit. Our family is very active outdoors and I am involved with Scouting. It is a good, quality kit. We added small scissors and more tape.
