This part fits perfectly and tight without any rattle or shift. Magpul is quality gear. I made a mistake about height for my specific setup, but that is on me, not the equipment, and it will work on other equipment for me. Although they warn it could interfere with the charging handle, it cleared mine with buttstock fully extended.

Excellent fit for my magpul dte stock an my AR 15 with a holosun aero red dot and h3xm magnifier. The .50 is the perfect height. It was a good price and great magpul quality

I bought 2 of these to install on the top and bottom of my S&W M&P 15 Sport's stock handguard. The installation required me to use a round file to elongate the rear holes of both the top and bottom halves of the handguard in order to allow the hardware to line up properly. After filing, the rails attached fine and were very secure. However, when I tried to reassemble the handguard, I could not get the top half to seat properly. After further inspection, I noticed that the rear screw of the rail was hitting the gas tube, preventing it from seating correctly. I grabbed my dremel and filed the screw flush with the threaded washer. After reassembling the hanguard, it fit fine. Bottom line...it will work, with some minor tweaking. Great price, good quality.

I bought this to mount onto the underside of the forend of my Weatherby PA-459 12 gauge so I could use a vertical grip - mine came with no forend rail. Like all of Magpul's products, the plastic used to make this rail, while very slightly flexible (a good thing in my case), is super tough and heavy duty. The rail is light, solid, and has no snagging corners since they are rounded off. This rail won't cut your hand like an aluminum rail with sharp corners and slot cutouts. With a little work, you can basically mount this onto anything, not just a Magpul forend. I managed to make it work with the included hardware, which functions quite well after drilling the holes and removing some material on the inside the forend for the forward nut and bolt. You really can't go wrong. If you're looking for a plain rail to rig up on whatever gun you may have, this is a good one, though for the Weatherby PA-459 forend I would suggest getting the L4 rail instead which would be much quicker and easier to mount due to the shorter length.

Bought this to mount on underbelly of MOE long fore grip on AR-15. Went on easy and looks like the two were made for each other. Mounted bipod on one end of the rail section and grip on the other. Both fore grip and rail handled the stresses without missing a beat. Will get more rail sections for the side mount slots of the fore grip. Between the flexibility of the fore grip design and the many rail section options, I can arrange all my furniture just the way I like it and make quick changes--even while on station at the range. Don't know what I like more: the flexible design, durability or styling. Doesn't matter though, this fits well, looks great, has a rock-solid ride and leaves me enough $$ in pocket to buy a few more rounds of ammo.

Perfect fit on my moe cts stock...clicks right on and holds firmly to the stock...zero wobble or rattling...I have a high mounted scope with a large 50mm objective lens so the 1/2 inch cheek riser is perfect for my setup....it's also a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a fancy $200 stock with the adjustable riser and all the other bells and whistles
