- Burt's Bees Gentle Cream Cleanser with Aloe for Sensitive Skin, 98.9% Natural Origin, 6 Ounces

Gets makeup off like a breeze, refreshes, nourishes and soothes. It's moisturizing, fragrance is minimal but pleasant and value for money is sublime.

This is a thick white non-soapy, non-foaming cream cleanser that comes in a tube. So, just a heads up if suds or lather is what you would rather prefer. It is mainly natural ingredients, leaping bunny certified (meaning it is cruelty-free) & responsible resourcing-it states all that on the back of the tube. My skin gets more reactive especially in winter with dry indoor heating and cold outdoor winds. I need a cleanser that is fragrance-free and isn't foaming so it doesn't strip my skin of moisture or make it rough. I have mature older type skin and no difficulties with this but very oily skinned or acne-prone might require/need something else-remember if it is lather you want this doesn't foam, it is cream based.. And, if you are new to a product or have sensitive or rosacea skin it might be prudent to test it out slowly to see how your skin adjusts and/or reacts and heed your skin's response. And it also states "on the tube" to avoid contact with eye area but then "any" soap, cleanser and/or shampoo, with the exception of baby shampoo maybe, could sting if you get it in the eyes. I use eye-makeup remover specifically made for that purpose to cut-down on irritation. This cleanser contains aloe which adds some moisturizing properties. If I am wearing transfer resistant long-wearing makeup I remove it first with micellar water or a makeup remover tissue. That way I don't have a lot of gunky makeup on my face mixed in with cleanser that doesn't always rinse off that well (it's not exactly a makeup remover that's why I use something else first to remove makeup prior to cleansing). Then I dampen my face first and apply a small amount of cleanser to clean my face working it in circular motions with my fingertips. The cleanser is rather thick but I have found removing it with a damp washcloth works well. I allow my face to dry then apply treatment or moisturizer (always use sunscreen during the day). For someone that had former skin issues my skin looks better and gets noticed. It is an economical way to keep my face clean and there are no parabens or phthalates in this cleanser either. I wouldn't use a highly foaming cleanser or something with salicylic acid because it doesn't suit my skin type but I use this because quite simply it did the job. And even if it wasn't a go to for me there are others for who it might be.

I have older skin and while the wrinkles haven't set yet, I can see a time when they will so I am picky. This works very well once daily without stripping my skin but also doesn't add a grease layer. The scent is mild and doesn't linger. It's not great for removing makeup but for just basic face washing, it's very adequate and I haven't got any complaints.

It takes me a very long time to decide on products especially skin care. It takes day, research, reviews, comparison and youtube videos. I have tried cerave, ponds, Cetaphil ponds vani cream and others. I have sensitive skin so my options are limited. So far of vanicream was the best but in the winter it left my skin red and itchy. I have oily skin in the summer and I'm learning that I have combination skin in the winter so the other products didn't work for me anymore. They were too thin and watery. My skin never felt clean. I've only used this for a few days but so far by feel alone I love it. The downside is that it smells like glue but the scent is not strong or offensive. Its to be expected with a semi natural product. But it is nice and smooth not too thick or too thin like the vanicream and cetaphil. It took off makeup a lot better than the others as well. Did not have to double cleanse. I also like the moisturizing effect. My skin feels clea and not heavy. It takes time to see how my skin adjusts to new products so I will give it some time before I make a follow-up review but so far I give it 4 stars. Great price as well especially because u really only need a pea sized amount. I normally ignore products that say that but its very true with this one. It will last me a long time.

I love this cleanser, I was using a much more expensive cleanser before this and it was working but the price was really bothering me for something I am rinsing down the drain. I use a clarisonic and I have dry/ combination skin very dry skin on my forhead and cheeks and large congested pores on my nose. I really wanted a soap free cleanser because I just love how my skin feels without using soap. I do however have a deeper cleanser I use about once a week before I use a face mask just to ensure I get any residue off my face and im starting fresh. *scent- it is fragrance free which means no added fragrance the natural scent of this product isnt great but it isnt bad at all and it is very comforting to me for some reason. It isnt strong and it does not linger once you rinse it off you are good! *cleansing ability- this cleans great without leaving your skin tight or dry. I use this in the morning with just my hands to wash off my night treatments and I love how soft my skin is after. I have another cleanser Im using up at night , however when I do use this at night it works Great with my clarisonic to give me a deeper clean. I use the burts bees makeup remover wipes first if I have makeup on. *overall- it is a great soap free cleanser. Does not irritate my skin, I am absolutely in love with it! Will repurchase again and again! Also It helped clear up some tiny bumps I was getting on my forhead!

I love Burt’s Bee products, this face wash is very creamy and does a great job getting all your makeup off. Does not leave your skin feeling dry.

I like that it washes my face gentle without making my face burn or itch however I still get breakouts while using it. I have super sensitive skin so its hard to find something thats effective for my skin that is effective to help without causing a reaction.

This is a gentle cleanser for sensitive skin. It doesn't dry my face out and is just as good as the luxury brands I have used in the past at a much better price.

Meine Haut ist von Natur aus sehr empfindlich und neigt zu jedem Makel den man haben kann... fettig/trocken/grobporig/mega empfindlich. Ganz tolle Mischung. Ich habe die Reinigungslotion aus Neugier wegen der anderen guten Rezensionen bestellt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Meine Haut ist nach der Reinigung nicht irritiert oder ausgetrocknet, sie fühlt sich einfach sauber und rein an. Ich wage zu behaupten, wenn ich die Lotion vertrage, verträgt sie jeder...da meine Haut die Weltmeisterschaft der zickigsten Haut wohl leider gewinne möchte. Der Preis ist natürlich eher im mittleren Segment anzusiedeln, aber, es geht um meine Gesichtshaut und wenn ich gute Qualität für mein Ged bekomme, was hier der Fall ist, habe ich kein Problem etwas mehr zu zahlen. Alle Inhaltsstoffe sind soweit ok und ich finde die Lotion recht ergiebig. Für trockene, unreine, empfindliche, schnell nachfettende Haut zu empfehlen. Ich werde dabei bleiben und sobald meine Gesichtscreme leer ist auch die Creme der Serie testen. 5 Sterne.

Très satisfaite de l'effet qu'a eu ce produit sur ma peau. Cela me laissait toujours avec une peau propre et la crème est très douce.
