It's ok
It's a nice product but my dog couldn't take all that vitamin A (liver). Otherwise it would have been great.

โญโญโญโญโญ Thoughtfully formulated multivitamin for home-cooked diets
I have spent a great deal of time researching dog supplements because I feed my dog a carefully prepared home-cooked diet rather than kibble. My dog is a senior who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and this decision came from wanting to give him the cleanest, most supportive nutrition possible in hopes of maintaining his strength, comfort, and quality of life โ and, hopefully, adding more good days to our time together. When feeding home-cooked meals, proper supplementation matters. I found that many products labeled โmultivitaminโ were actually treats, enzyme blends, or omega supplements that did not provide the essential vitamins and trace minerals required to balance a fresh diet. This supplement stood out because it actually addresses those needs: โ๏ธ True vitamin coverage โ includes vitamins A, D, E, and a full B-complex, which are commonly missing in home-prepared diets โ๏ธ Essential trace minerals โ zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, and iron (in bioavailable chelated forms) โ๏ธ Powder form โ easy to mix into food without sugary soft chews or jerky-style fillers โ๏ธ Thoughtful added ingredients โ milk thistle, spirulina, and kelp (iodine) without unnecessary additives โ๏ธ Made in the USA and NASC-compliant Important note for anyone feeding fresh food: this supplement does not replace calcium for meat-based diets. A separate calcium source (such as eggshell powder) is still required, which is normal for properly balanced home-cooked meals. I intentionally use less than the label dose to avoid over-supplementing, and it has been well tolerated so far. The smell is mild and he doesnโt mind the taste when mixed in his food immediately before serving. If youโre feeding kibble, this likely isnโt necessary. But for anyone feeding home-cooked meals โ especially for senior dogs or dogs facing serious illnesses like lymphoma โ this is a well-thought-out option for providing essential micronutrient support as part of a loving, intentional care plan.

Perfect recipe, please donโt change!
I have the pickiest of dogs, Iโve tried 4-5 multivitamins for my pup and he wouldnโt go near any of them. Ollie actually gave his paw to the container before I mixed it with anything! Love that this product doesnโt have digestive enzymes or yeast, perfect for my senior pup with sensitivities. Just what he needs to supplement his home cooked meals, nothing superfluous.

This stuff saved my dogโs life
I think this stuff is saving my dogโs life. The last 7 months he has only been able to eat 1 single source of protein due to extreme IBD issues. He has been slowly wasting away. I started adding the Rx Essentials into his food 10 days ago because he truly has had basically 0 nutrients aside from lamb and chicken meat. He has shown so much improvement and energy. His eyes donโt seem so dull now. Rx Vitamins so a trustworthy company! I highly recommend them. Iโm waiting on their Zymes and Biotic powder to come in the mail, too. I trust this company!

Good supplement for homemade dog food!
We like to make homemade dog food and try to make it nutritious but there are always issues with getting the right/enough vitamins and minerals. I like this product the best. I add it to their food and stir it in. I don't know what it tastes like but they don't have any problem eating the food so I guess it tastes fine. Reasonable price, the dogs eat it, and they have shiny coats - and too much energy.

In spite of available for return- PRODUCT IS NOT RETURNABLE-
When I ordered this- it says available for return till April 18th- my dog will not eat his meals with these supplement added- I went to return and received a message that it was no available for return- so something is amiss here-- I will take this up with Amazon- the product has a very strong odor-no sneaking it in on my boy- as long as don't add this to his food he eats just fine- I do not recommend this product-

Over-Inflated Price
Good product, but can be purchased from a vet at the same price this seller used to charge - approximately $60.00. Also, size of the container is wasteful as product fills half the size of the containers.

Be careful
This product is not a homogenous mixture and will not be no matter how much you mix it. If you are using a really large quantity then it may be okay. However, if you have a small dog and want to use only a small amount, you will likely not get a balanced blend of nutrients and this could lead to over doses of A and D vitamins as well as copper toxicity. About the taste, one of my dogs tolerates the taste, the other refuses to eat his food with this in it.
