Collector Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen Doll

Bought this for my daughter who is currently obsessed with The Hunger Games. I did not intend to keep as a Collector, so we took her out of the box. Very detailed. She has her bow and arrow and even the Mockingjay pin on her jacket. I love that the doll still looks like Barbie and that they didn't try to make her look like the actress from the movie. I'm not sure if Barbie Collector has made any other characters but if they have, I want them. Excellent quality that you can expect from the Barbie line. She also came with a stand to hold her and is completely bendable in her arms, wrists and knees.

I purchased this for my 10 year old daughter who is a Hunger Games fan. The detail on the doll is fantastic because it has all the features (accessories) of what the actress in the movie wore: jacket with red lining, bow, arrows, arrow case and Mockingjay pin worn. My daughter enjoys playing with this doll and I will get the other character dolls to the movie that are out as well. It is made with the good Barbie quality that other Barbie dolls are made with. I think it was worth purchasing for my little Hunger Games fan. ;) Warning though: It does have small parts (the bow, arrows and I don't know if the pin would break off) so I wouldn't recommend this for a child that would still be curious about putting things in their mouth.

My 11 year old daughter (and myself) are rabid Hunger Games fans. I got this for her as a Christmas present. When I opened the box I was thrilled. It does resemble the actress that played Katness a little. It does still have the Barbie doll glam look but not so much as to be too much. I was expecting the typical generic Barbie face so I am pleased. She hasn't come out of the box but I can see that her accessories are on the delicate side. We will be keeping this away from my daughters 2 year old twin syblings that's for sure! I already know that this will be my oldest's prized Barbie. The best part it the anticipation-i can't wait to see my daughter's face on Christmas monring! She doesn't even know they make a Katness doll. She is going to be over the moon. The outfit is perfect and the bow and arrows really complete the doll and make it Katness and not just a generic Barbie.

I got this for my daughter, I thought maybe she would keep it as a collector's item but it has turned out to be a favorite companion. She takes it with her everywhere she goes. I was amazed by the attention to detail in the bow and arrows and how well made everything from the figure itself to the clothing. I have to say this particular figure was worth every penny and we are looking at getting more from this line to add her her collection. I would recommend this figure any day of the week. Oh, and it comes with a really nice stand for displaying as well as a certificate so great as a collector's item or a childhood fave toy :)

Ordered this doll along with a few other items (all presents for others), and I opened the box to find everything stacked haphazardly on top of each other. The Katniss doll looks pretty nice (though there's a weird, though subtle, mark on her face that must have gotten there before she was packaged in her box)... The main issue was that the BOX itself was torn and bent where it reads "BARBIE® COLLECTOR BLACK LABEL" on the bottom and looks awful and cheap as a result. This might not matter to most people, but I bought this Barbie for an avid collector who has no intention of taking her out of the box, which means it's important that the box look as pristine as possible. The plastic of the box is also scratched from interaction with other items during shipment, and is covered in fingerprints as well. Come on, Amazon. Please put a little more effort into how you package grouped items. I'll be returning this and PRAYING that I can get another one in better "boxed" condition, since it'll be the only item in the box.

she is a great barbie for pretty much anything i only had one problem with her. when she got here she had a small crack in her arm,but i fixed that with some super glue and tape. other than that she is great. her bow and arrows are very well made, my only problem with her bow is that the string got a little loose after a couple of days but it was easy to fix. other than that she is perfect.

I am a Barbie lover and I also love both the book and the movie The Hunger Games. So when I saw this doll I fell in love with it, however, the discription and the doll are two very different things. First this doll's discription said that it was a likeness of the lead female actress in the movie and it also said that the doll had all of the added items that Katniss would have had in the movie. Well, first off the doll does not look like the actress I mean it is close but it is not the actress, and second, it does have the bow and arrows and her outfit but it does not include the backpack that she had in the movie. All in all the doll is nice but it is not the complete package. This is the second time that I got one of the newer Barbies and the second time that my expectations were not fully met. The Barbies of today are a far cry from the ones even 10 years ago. I just hope that my next purchase is a really good one.

my daughter bought this for herself for a late christmas present. The package was in great condition and the doll was everything she expected. She is not a collector but wanted it to actually play with but she is taking great care with it. She really likes the fact that the doll can hold the bow, can be posed in many different positions due to the different joints in the arms and legs, and has an upright stand that she puts it back on everyday after she plays with it. She really enjoyed being able to watch the video from the designer telling about how they designed the doll and the fact that they were able to make the clothes from the doll by borrowing the actual costume Jennifer Lawrence wore in the movie. We looked at many other sites and our local Toys R Us before we bought this doll and Amazon had the best price and thanks to Prime we received it in 2 days which she was very excited about.

Cette Barbie est de bonne qualité, la texture du pantalon est un peu grossière mais le visage est assez ressemblant à l'actrice. Malheureusement la référence de la poupée est marquée sur l'emballage du colis, l'effet de surprise pour ma femme est tombé à l'eau ... mais la vendeuse m'a renvoyée une compensation et s'est excusée ==> communication excellente, mais si vous projetez de faire un cadeau, demandez-lui un emballage cellophane.

Me ha encantado la muñeca. Nada más verla me cautivó su imagen. El precio es alto para un juguete normal pero se trata, sin duda, de mucho más. Sin llegar a ser coleccionista, se puede disfrutar de la perfección de los detalles que acompañan a la muñeca. Su indumentaria es de calidad y su flexibilidad también. La recomiendo para todas aquellas personas, adultas o no, que hayan visto la película y les haya gustado. Si la regaláis a una adolescente ¡éxito asegurado!. El envío llega con rápidez, incluso antes de la fecha estimada para ello

When you first see the box, you see that the box is actually really sophisticated - none of the typical 'Barbie pink'. She looks much better in real life than in the pictures. The doll is very well jointed, much more so than a regular Barbie, which makes her more fun to play with or easier to pose if you're going to be displaying her. It even comes with a stand to display her on - it's a pretty good one and you can't really tell it's there! The detail is phenomenal; everything from the mockingjay pin to those awesome boots and even the bows! One thing I will mention is that it is very hard to get her to hold the bow. It comes attached to her hand with ugly bulky plastic, which I removed. Now I wish I hadn't because I have to physically tie the bow to her hand with thread and it rarely stays in place for long. Also, the day after I brought it, amazon took over a third off of the price which was both disappointing and annoying. However, it's a lovely doll, not too 'Barbie' like and actually looks very much like Katniss in the film so I recommend it for both Hunger Games Fans and Barbie Collectors :)

Bellissima riproduzione di Katniss in tutto il suo splendore del primo film! E' completamente snodabile ed arriva con il piedistallo e il certificato di autenticità. Da fan del film ho notato subito la somiglianza del viso ( soprattutto di lato) e ho apprezzato molto il dettaglio della spilla. La cifra è un'po alta ma ne vale la pena.
