Rockford Fosgate R250-4 250 Watt 4-Channel Amplifier

This Rockford Fosgate Prime R250-4 kicks butt. Rockford Fosgate has the reputation for great amps and this is no exception. First off is its size, its compact with is nice if you wish to install it in a tight area or don't want a huge footprint. Second: the sound is awesome, it has added clarity to my music and makes my speakers rock. It's rated at 250watts, but Rockford tests all there amps before shipping and mine was rated at 322 watts. I like the fact it ca be installed in almost any position vertical and even mounted upside down on a rear deck and Rockford says its ok, a real plus. I would highly recommend this amp, for the price it can't be beat!

I bought this a few weeks back and fell in love with it. Mine puts out 319w and works in tight spaces do it's small size. They make all my Kicker KS speakers scream so loud that it makes my ears ring. I thought they sounded good on my headunit but adding the extra power makes for one hell of a difference. This is a must buy, it's cheap, easy to install, and very powerful. I have become a Rockford Fosgate fan for life.

I'm not sure about this amp, i have Rockford Fosgate T165-S 6.5-Inch Power Series Car Audio Component Speakers hooked up to them and they make a popping noise if the amp is turned up too high. Not sure if it's the speakers or the amp.

First off I'm surprised by the power it puts out. Mine came rated 324 RMS on the birth sheet. I have a pair of type s 6 1/2 alpine components and a pair of type s 6 1/2 2ways its powering. I sounds amazing, better than my Crunch powerzone 900.4 amp . Better bass and better clarity. Don't be fooled by the 40 watts RMS per speaker.

I was looking for a small size amp which could be installed under the seat. Installation itself was easy. The amplifier puts out 320 Watts and runs a JL Audio CS110-WXv2 Subwoofer System with Single 10WXv2-4 Subwoofer Driver & Sealed Enclosure . Both components work perfectly together. Exactly what I wanted to add a little bit deeper sound.

I used this amp to run a pair of power series 6x9s and a couple power horns. everything loud and clear. at one point in time i had 2 channels bridged to run 2 terminator 12s, granted the amp got pretty warm but it never went into protect mode. eventually i hooked it up to 2 10" powerbass subs and they went up in smoke and took the 2 rear channels with it. worked great while it lasted.

This amp continues a long line of superior products from Fosgate I've used over the years. Mine came right out of the box factory rated at 332 watts RMS. I currently have it running to 6.5 components and a set of tweeters....soon to add the rear channels with 6x9's. I have the gain turned to almost the lowest possible setting and it sounds excellent. For the price, I don't think you could get a better amp. The size is very good as well, about the size of a medium hard back book. Fits nicely under the front seat.
