Architectural Drafting Simplified

Great book

This book is written in a very practical and easy-to-understand way. The table of contents is a complete mess though (look in the preview on Amazon). E.g. "EXTERIOR ELEVATIONS - chapter 639" .

I took an architectural drafting class at the local community college and used this book in combination with a much larger required text that was too general (and very expensive) in nature. While completing my assignments I found it easier to refer to this book to clarify the practical applications of the drawing projects and construction processes. The architectural drawings, details, and projects were clear and well presented. This book ould easily be used as a main text, as it is particularly well suited to the beginning to intermediate student. Very practical book that delivers what its description promises.

Presentation is well done. Not inclusive with engineering jargon that average readers don't understand.
