At a loss for words
Warning, it's a long read, but I wanted to go into deep detail. To start, I have been a Rainbow vacuum user for so long. I love them and felt they worked amazingly. Next, I have 3 dogs & a cat. One is a thick coat lab and the cat sheds so much as well. Another next, I have horrible allergies and wanted something that would help keep them calm as well. I also have a lung disease and need something that will pick up as much junk as possible to keep them clear. Now, on to the Shark vacuum. I got tired of lugging around the Rainbow and wanted to look into a vacuum that my daughter could use and help out. I found this Shark vacuum and 6 others that grabbed my attention. I dug deep. I read through every review, good, bad, indifferent. I wanted a vacuum that was going to truly pick up pet hair/dander, as well as pick up sand & dirt. I was drawn to this specific vacuum saying pet & allergen vacuum and loved that so many of the reviews said it had amazing suction power. I thought there's no way ut can be as amazing as most were raving about. After 2 months of digging and narrowing down vacuums, I was left with this one. I finally decided to purchase it and see what all the fuss was about. It came in today and I immediately out it together to the it out. I had just vacuumed with my Rainbow vacuum 2 days before, so I didn't expect much. Oh....my....gosh...! I am blown away! Seriously, no joke! The picture you see attached was after 2 passes over a 2' x 2' area in my living room. Not kidding...pushed it forward, pulled it back. Did this one other time. I was completely astonished! There is no way my carpet is that dirty after using my Rainbow 2 days before! I swore by that vacuum and how great of a job it did, so I thought. This vacuum pulled out dirt, sand, pet fur from 3 families ago, it seems lol. I immediately took this picture and dumped the resivoir since it was full. I was excited to finish the rest of my living room and then move on to the rest of the house. It took me 30 minutes to vacuum my living room because I had to keep stopping to empty the reservoir. I am grossed out that it was that dirty, but so grateful that I purchased this Shark vacuum. The vacuum is super easy to put together. It's not heavy and is easy to use. I love that it has the large vacuum and the option to break it down to a hand held vacuum to get baseboards and hard to reach areas. I also love that the power switch has 3 positions; Off, Bare floor, and carpet. I love that there is a place on the vacuum for hose attachments. I love that the power cable is quite long. I love that it's compact enough to fit in my coat closet, but large enough to vacuum the living room quicker than the sport vacuum. It makes vacuuming a breeze. The price is amazing for being a Shark vacuum. This vacuum is so amazing that I finished vacuuming, rinsed the resivoir and filter, put it away, and immediately sat down to write this review. Seriously give this vacuum a try! Your only regret is that you didn't get it sooner. I will update this review if anything changes. I am convinced this is the perfect vacuum.

Great Suction Even When Detached from the Unit
This is a good vacuum. I purchased it because I have hardwood floors and I got tired of sweeping and watching the broom collect hair and dust that I have to keep removing. In addition, I have a nice amount of space to keep clean, and sweeping all day with a broom is not the most efficient way to spend my time 😂. It's a little heavy, but the canister detaches which allows you to get those spider webs, suck up trash around the baseboards, and it does a great job on carpet, especially when dust starts collecting near the baseboard and becomes challenging to remove. Anywho, this works for me and it was recommended by a friend. I am happy with it so far, and my house looks like I hired a maid 😊

Great suction and immediate difference
I had to replace my old vacuum and now I’m wondering where this one has been all my life. This is a very high powered vacuum with great suction. I don’t have to vacuum the same spot repeatedly, one strike does wonders. After the first use, I realized just how bad my old vacuum was as I emptied the filter and there was so much dirt pulled up that my last vacuum wasn’t getting. I’ve used it quite a few times and I love knowing and seeing that my rug is really clean. It also has the option to clean hardwood floors, which is does just as well. It’s not heavy and I’m able to store it easily. This is worth the money. I actually would have paid more for it!

So far seems to be quality and is easy to maneuver, lighweight.
The vacuum cleaner is light weight and easy to maneuver because it has a very small suction base. It can fit into tighter spaces but at the same time isn't covering a lot of territory with the narrow span. The cord is annoyingly short, requiring relocating to a new outlet before finishing a room. The cord is also poorly placed, necessitating a holding of it to avoid running over it and/or tripping on it. It seems to have good suction. The dirt, especially pet hair, gets hung up in the collection bin and has to be fished out. It does seem overall to be good quality and does function well. It's only been in use a few times, but so far it has worked well. With mostly hard surface floors and high-shedding pets, there's a need for frequent vacuuming. Time will tell how it holds up. It picks things up well, but another annoying issue is that it's not an easy transition from hard surface to carpet or rugs. It requires bending to push a button to change to new surface, just a minor inconvenience, but better vacuum cleaners make one spoiled for the less user-friendly models.

Strongest Vacuum Ever
This is the best vacuum i have ever had. To put it into perspective, I can't vacuum my rug with it because it's so dang strong, it suctions it off of the floor! (This isn't a problem, though, because I use the wand on the rug anyways.) Amazing for anyone with pets. It gets the cat hair right out of the carpet! Works on hard wood, tile, and carpet floors. I have a feeling this vacuum will last me a very long time.

Excellent with Pet hair (big canister)
Only had it a short time but very impressed. Easy to use light weight on all floors. Picks up dog hair very well one of the main things I was looking for. The suction is excellent, canister is big and easy to empty, easy to clean. Nice durability for a big house( or a small place) I would buy again

Good but some serious flaws
I purchased this vacuum based on the large number of professional reviews. While it is powerful, I’m still struggling with several design issues that make it frustrating to use. The good: It has strong suction, and I can clearly see how much debris, mostly pet hair, it is picking up compared to my previous vacuum. I also appreciate that the collection container makes it easy to tell when it needs to be emptied. It is very lightweight, which is both a positive and a negative. The low weight makes it easy to maneuver, and the swivel steering is genuinely useful. The problems: The light weight becomes an issue when using any of the tools. If one hand is not holding the vacuum itself, the short, tight hose pulls and causes the unit to tip over. I’ve tried stretching the hose and waited several weeks before writing this review, but the hose remains stiff and severely limits tool reach. For example, sitting on the floor to clean small bathroom vanity rugs with a tool resulted in the vacuum repeatedly tipping over and hitting my head. One hand had to hold the tool, while the other had to hold the rug to keep it from being sucked in. This made what should be a simple task unnecessarily awkward. The curved handle design used for tool operation also makes precise work difficult because of the forced angle it creates. The unit is so light that I can’t leave it outside a closet without worrying it will fall over. My 8-lb cat has knocked it over twice just by rubbing against the base. The attachment holder placement is also odd. The fabric/upholstery tool is wide enough that it constantly hits my arm while vacuuming. I appreciate having a durable power cord, but even after weeks of use it remains very stiff. It tends to knot and catch on furniture when using it and trying to get full run out of the cord. Finally, removing the top of the unit for tool use often causes dust to fall back onto the vacuum and onto the surrounding floor. Summary: This vacuum has excellent suction, but its lightweight design, short hose, awkward ergonomics, and stability issues make it more difficult to use than expected, especially for tool-based cleaning.

Amazing suction power
So far, we love everything about this vacuum. I'm blown away by the power/suction it has. Not only does it pick up everything off of a rug, but also wood and linoleum floors (which is what we have mostly) but we use those vacuum-seal bags to store off-season clothes and linens and it sucks so much more air out sooo quickly! Our old vacuum was so lame compared to this one. But we have a big rug and a runner, and probably getting more rugs later. I like the fact that you can take the small canister off and use the extension wand to clean corners and up above on the ceiling (we have fairly high ceilings). It's also very lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space. It fits in a cupboard we bought to store it, that is 16"x16"x 6'. We've only had it for a month, but our son and his girlfriend bought the vacuum and I went to look at it before we ordered it and they've had it for a few months and have no complaints about it. I'm really happy we spent a little extra to get this one. We haven't used it a lot, so haven't had to empty the canister yet, but my son showed me how to do it and it looks like a breeze. The other thing, is that it does pull easier than push and we're vacuuming a .5" pile carpet. Of course on the wood/linoleum floors, no problems. The one thing I was not happy about is that I tried to call the Customer Service number 15 min. before their posted closing time and they were closed and when I sent them an email it bounced. I've not yet pursued that, but I will. My son said they had no problems with them when they discovered they were missing one of the brushes and it was sent to them.. We also didn't get the pet brush that was supposed to come with it, but we don't have any pets, so not an issue for us. Overall, I'd say that this is a great product and with the short time we've had it, we like it.

Hands down the best vacuum I’ve used!
So I’m a clean freak, I knew my old vacuum wasn’t the best but it was sucking up the crumbs you know? I just got my shark today and this is what the canister collected! I thought my house was clean, but apparently my old vacuum was a POS. I’m so impressed by this vacuum. Wow! It’s super easy to use and put together. I love the feature of lifting it off the brush head. Makes vacuuming the stairs a dream! Highly recommend! Get one!

Good for the price
Overall I'm happy with the vacuum as it's great for the price. Easy to empty and clean, and great suction that you can control. The carpet brush seems to have good power. The unit overall is light and easy to lift and manoeuver. One major con...because the unit is so light and the carpet cleaner isn't too wide, using the tube with attachments in almost any capacity more than 1 foot away will tip the vacuum or handheld unit over. Maybe the Shark hose is too stiff and doesn't extend well enough without pulling the entire machine. This gets extremely annoying if you vacuum frequntly with the crevice tool or duster. I'm comparing this to my dyson multi-floor 2 which is heavier and has rarely tipped while using the hose with attachments. However, I wouldn't fault the Shark as it's $500 cheaper. Also, I found it to be a challenge to purchase accessories for the NV352 through the canadian website. The current option seems to be to try and find them on Amazon or somewhere else or order from the US website and pay US$35 international shipping.
