My cat started drinking more water almost immediately which gives me peace of mind knowing she’s staying hydrated. The flow is quiet and calming with just the right amount of movement to keep the water fresh without scaring her off. t’s easy to set up and clean with a good filter system that keeps the water clear for days. The size is perfect and the design blends in well with the rest of my kitchen.

We have had this fountain now for about 4 weeks. We have 3 indoor cats and one cat that comes and goes. All of them have always been good water drinkers ( for a cat, IYKYK), but I knew that fountain would be even better. My fear was that my cats never liked change and I was very skeptical about them coming near it, let alone using it. Boy was I wrong. Within just a couple of days all 4 were drinking from it! Even though I still had the regular bowl in another room.The fountain is very quiet, I love that the part they drink from is steel and not plastic and it’s very easy to clean. The replacement filters and sponges are reasonably priced ($10 for a 5 month supply). Hoping this will help them drink more during the hot summer months in Houston, especially our inside/ outside guy.

UPDATE: So I decided to write this update and EVERY one who owns this should read this. I love this thing (after I got one that worked), but it's important to know that this isn't for lazy pet owners who think they can just fill this up and let it be. This NEEDS to be cleaned and the MOTOR needs to be cleaned. It's super important that if you have this and you never popped the caps off the front and back of the motor to clean it, you do it right NOW. The front of the motor (the bit with the vent) isn't as bad as the back, but when you pop the front cap off you need to clean inside (also, once you pop the front cap off, the next little circular bit pops off as well). It's quick and easy and you'll see the gunk that builds up. The back part (where the wire connects) is where you really need to clean. Since there's no flow back there from the motor, the water sits stagnant in there and there is quite a build up. Just pop the back cap off and clean it out.I always cleaned my entire fountain weekly. And I always used small pipe cleaners to clean inside the motor area and the spout on the motor, but when I popped those caps...oh boy... I mean I would even soak my motor in super hot water and such to make sure it was clean.Anyway, the point is, this thing is great and my cats absolutely LOVE it. I also don't give my cats tap water (maybe I'm crazy, but if I don't drink it, I'm not giving it to them 😂). Just keep it clean, replace the filters frequently and that's that. It super quiet and if the light bothers you, it's easily removed if that's what you want to do.Was excited to try this. Set it up. Light works, but the motor doesn't. Shame. I'll update after I get a replacement, but not off to a great start. Gave it two stars because it does look great and my cat is really interested in it already, but unfortunately she can't drink from it yet
