We purchased this for our Australian Shepherd puppy who is teething and this is a high quality dog chew toy! It’s a little smaller than I expected but still a nice size for her. We put it in the freezer so it is cold on her teeth. She carries this around and chews on it and it has been a wonderful toy for her! It is durable, thick and solid, doesn’t squeak, and is a safe toy for her! I would highly recommend this if you have a super chewer dog, puppy who is teething or looking for a quality dog chew toy!

Puppy loves it, heavy duty first toy he didn't chew apart

My chesky terrier LOVES to play fetch with this ring. It is durable, NO squeaker which makes me happy, a nice solid weight. She weighs 22 lbs and I got the small. I do NOT let her chew on this after her playtime.

My husky loves it but he has gotten his foot caught in it while it's in his mouth. It only trips him up for a moment eventually he gets his foot out, but it could cause him to get hurt if he falls over. So far, it's holding up really well to his abuse. He loves toys and he uses them often. It's easy to throw and he likes to use it to wrestle.

Very durable, we’ve had it for months and it still is in almost perfect condition. Great for rough chewers.

Our girl loves her new toy. She is super protective over it and goes crazy chewing it. The material and quality are great. She hasn’t made a dent in it yet. It’s light weight and true to size perfect for a puppy or small dog. It can be washed off easily since it’s made of rubber. If you want something your dog can solo play with that doesn’t squeak it’s perfect. The shape makes it great for carrying around by your pup or even playing tug of war between two dogs. Highly recommend!

My veterinarian recommended the red Kong as a chew toy. I’d been buying my 13 lb, now 7 yrs old dachshund the flavored nylabone chew toy products “for aggressive chewers” since he was about a year old. He loves them and would chew them daily. All seemed well. On his last checkup the veterinarian even said that his mouth looked good, but we both could see that there was a brown tartar buildup on his back teeth. Since our veterinarian’s practice has one veterinarian who has dental training, I decided to arrange for a teeth cleaning for my dog. Unfortunately, although none of us expected it, once the tartar was removed from the back teeth it was clear that the teeth had cracks. One large tooth was even chipped down to where we could see the pulp! (Yes, I did note that he occasionally would suddenly squeal when chewing his nylabone, but I thought it was because he’d hit one of the sharp points on a well-chewed nylabone.) The vet recommended that two of the teeth be removed while the dog was still asleep. Then he recommended the red Kong chews for him and said that he would never recommend the nylabone for any dog. They are just too hard and he’s seen too many dogs (of all sizes) end up with cracked and chipped teeth that he (the vet) thinks could have been avoided. He recommended the red Kong for my small dog. The black Kong chew toys are harder and more suited for larger breed aggressive chewers. So far my dachshund is satisfied with chewing the Kong, so that’s what I’ll be buying from now on.

My puppy became completely obsessed with ring shaped toys, but he was tearing up my cheap $2 ring toys every other day! I decided to buy this Kong ring and a month later, even with constant use, it is 100% undamaged. I have since purchased two more in case the original is lost. Even when he's asleep, his ring is with him. It is oddly shaped with offset circular bulges but it rolls well, which makes for the fun of a few unpredictable bounces. The price is a little steep but the product is super high quality. My only negative is that it does not float. Had to get a different ring for playing in water!

Have had this toy for 3 years, my dog absolutely loves it and has sharp teeth and the toy is still not broken. Bought another one for my friends dog as it’s so good!!
