The Batura Jacket is a highly durable, waterproof and warm down jacket for spet expedition use at altitude or in polar environments. It has fully taped seams and is made from waterproof Pertex® Shield fabric. Inside the jacket is filled with ethically-sourced 800FP R.D.S. Certified European Hydrophobic Goose Down. This down is held in secure bonded boxwall chambers and is hydrophobically coated with a fluorocarbon-free solution developed in conjunction with Nikwax®. The Batura Jacket has a relaxed fit to accommodate a full cold-weather layering system and a large, down-filled, helmet-compatible hood with a wired peak. The jacket has oversized pullers for ease of use with gloves and can be secured using the hem drawcord or adjustable cuffs. Other features of the Batura include a 2-way YKK® VISLON® front zip with double storm flap and insulated baffle; two YKK® AquaGuard® zipped handwarmer pockets; two chest pockets and two large internal mesh pockets.
