Beau Olivier never intended to fall in love, but what was once his conquest has become his prize. Until he ends up in the same position he was ten years earlierโbetween Lolaโs legs and begging to have her. So when she disappears into thin air, leaving him empty-handed and alone, Beau is consumed with the need to find her. As Lola gets farther from his reach, Beau is driven to the brink of insanity trying to find her. When he reaches the edge, he has to decide if he can let Lola go for goodโor if heโll bring her down with him. Book four in the Explicitly Yours Series. Review: Fabulous!! - What an ending to a fantastic story. Just fantastic. I couldnโt stop reading. I devoured the words on the pages. I just could t get enough and I just HAD to see what was going to happen next! Was he going to find her in Missouri? The elderly couple! How fitting! New Orleans? Texas? It was magical to watch Beau come to the realization of just how wrong he was. What she did wasnโt right but he never wouldโve understood where she was or how she felt if she hadnโt. I was happy to see that Brigette found her way also. She needed that. But Beau and his transformation was just spellbinding. And Lola. I just love Lola. They deserve each other. Now that all the crap is out of the way. Fabulous series. Highly recommend. Review: Enjoyable Series. Great Characters! - This series was totally worth the read in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Beau and Lola/Melody. I must admit that these four books 4 very reminiscent of the movie โIndecent Proposalโ as far as the plot and story line, but thatโs where it ended in the comparison. The aspect of these books that I enjoyed best is the growth of the characters within the story. Watching each of them learn valuable life lesson added quite a bit of depth & further detailed their personalities. After reading many of the reviews I noticed folks were generally unhappy that there was no epilogue, however, I think Iโm going to side with the author in that it wasnโt completely necessary for this story to reach his conclusion. And just for the record I think itโs twins. ๐ That being stated, I would very much like to see another book in the future detailing how Beau and Lola handle the upcoming challenges of their life together and that could also include how things go with Brandon and Beauโs sister. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the story and could not stop reading to the next book. I even purchased all the audible versions and Christopher did a beautiful job narrating these books.

Must Read
WHAT a ride! Night Edge is book 4 in the Night Fever Serial and the conclusion to Beau and Lolaโs story. I have never read a set of books like this; they are in a class of their own. I was recommended this serial from a friend and I would do the same for others over and over again. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed itโฆ but I guess Iโll try since thatโs the point of thisโฆright? Lola and Beau have both torn each other down. Lola has to live with the decisions she made while Beau is left with something heโs never experienced beforeโฆfeeling out of control. Weโve seen the power of money and the ruins of revenge. Now in Night Edge we read about the aftermath and how both of them will handle the destruction they have caused one another. Lola wants to experience the world. She wants to see horribly tacky tourist roadside attractions, go to school, and finally figure out what her dream in life is. Now that she has the opportunity to do these things will they mean as much now that she is alone and constantly looking over her shoulder? Beau has worked his whole life to hold the power, to never have anyone he cares about want for something, and to be able to do anything money can grant him access to. Do these things mean anything if they only person he has ever loved isnโt there anymore? Beau and Lola have fallen, played, and hurt one another. In Night Edge, will they learn to forgive and let go of each other, continue their dangerous game or find their way back to one another? I couldnโt put my kindle down because I just had to know how it ended and what lay ahead for both of them. I wasnโt disappointed along the way or at the conclusion of Night Edge. The entire serial is unpredictable. It has an extremely high quality of writing at itโs finest full of suspense. It is the setting for characters who will make you swear, smile, cry, and swoon. We do Favorites List here at Rave and Rant about Raunch and I am telling you that as soon as I find a home for this serial on the list Night Fever will be on it. Youโre not just getting a romance series here- youโre getting a suspenseful, kinky, thought evoking, romantic roller-coaster of a fictional journey with a control motivated business man and a fiery, wild girl from the wrong side of the tracks as your leading hopefuls.

Best series I have read in a long time
This series was not only hard to put down it kept you guessing. The plot was so unpredictable and fresh I loved every bit of it. I literally really-read it right after I finished it because I could not get enough. I am hoping one more book comes out to wrap reverting up with Beau and his sister.

Loved the ending!
Lola is on the run from Beau. To say that he got the wool pulled over his eyes is putting it mildly. Never did he think that she could beat him in this game. Beau really disappointed me with his overriding desire to win and conquer so I was curious to see how far he would fall and then pull himself back up as a better guy and a changed man. Lola may be looking over her shoulder to make sure that she can't be found, but in the meantime, her road trip takes her on her own personal journey of self-discovery. Her feelings haven't changed and she thought revenge would be sweet, but instead all she feels is immense loss for a future that she could have had and wanted. Beau actually goes to look for Lola himself, always too late to find her in each location. The process of searching for Lola makes Beau search within himself, too, as he thinks about what he could have done differently and what he really has to offer. Most of all, what he could have had with her if he hadn't been so self-centered. I loved the final scene. Lola wanted the upper hand and she fought for it, but would Beau ever give it to her willingly while not knowing if he would come out the victor? They loved each other, broke one another down and when they reunited to say what needed to be said, could they forgive and trust again without the game in place? Fantastic conclusion.

Ending was not great
Obsession by Jessica Hawkins Beau did not see the revenge coming but when it happened he was angry and wanted to find Lola. He wanted to destroy her? Lola played the final card which not only hurt Beau but herself as well. While Lola has disappeared, Beau is intent on finding her. He goes through all the motions of being angry, looking for revenge and ultimately looking at himself and realising the part he played in this game. How shallow of a man he became because of his money. He realises that he loves her and not because she turned him down but because she is his equal and she owns his soul. Lola has hidden under the radar while doing a road trip. The trip opened her eyes up to discover what her future may hold. After looking back on everything that they had endured, she knows she still wants him. With her unexpected news and the realisation that LA is home, she heads home. Can Beau convince Lola that he wants her without the games? Can Lola ever forgive him? I must admit I was a bit disappointed in this book. The story lacked a building climax and was lacking conflict. Nothing much happened and most of what did made reference to things that we had read in the previous books. In my opinion, I felt like the author was struggling to conclude this book. The ending was really a bit of blasรฉ and the dialogue was awkward. The head hopping between the characters was confusing. I was hoping for more of a dramatic ending. Overall the series was good but I did feel a bit let down by the ending.. Hot Books & Sassy Girls Blog

Reflective
Okay, after reading book 3 I was anxious to read book 4. It was not boring. It did keep my interest. The intense feelings and emotions were very realistic. The final showdown was good but somewhat disappointing. I feel the story dropped off a cliff into a bottomless chasm. Other than that it was very good. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Inspirational Page-turner Realistic Unpredictable Wonderful characters

Amazing
Theses books really stole my heart. Jessica Hawkins is currently a favourite author of mine after reading these books and previous series. These books became compulsive. I wrote a review after book 1 but from book 2 to now I just clicked the 5stars because I just started reading the next book in a hurry to see where the story went. I fell in love and my heart was broken many times. I would highly recommend. It has some pretty hot scenes too. Read and enjoy.

Good conclusion to a cut above the average series
The last book ended with Lola having extracted her revenge on Beau and this one flawlessly continues with the realisation from both of them that there is more to life than manipulation and money. It plays out interestingly and not without a few more bumps in the road they are travelling. I would have liked an 'epilogue' to wrap things up a bit more completely as I felt it could have had a more conclusive conclusion. Overall a very good series which must be read in the correct order to fully enjoy the story, none of them are 'stand alone'.
