Much easier to install and use than the previous screw on safety chains
My travel trailer came with some strong screw-on clips on the safety chains. Yes, they were strong and would probably save my trailer should it pop off the ball hitch. But they were a pain to install and remove every time I hooked up the trailer or un-hitched it.These are great! Buy yourself a couple if you have any trailer with safety chains! Quick click and you're done!

Poor quality.
I will be returning this item. Note the pictures. They show the clip isn't aligned. The rivet holding it on is loose which is why it won't align.

Sturdy & strong
I am very happy w/ my purchase! These work perfectly for my gate chain in my front yard. I don’t have to worry about these snapping and breaking like my original plastic ones.Easy to slip through the chain link, pull lever forward for chain to slide all the way down, easy as that, no need for round rings.Highly recommended

Product works as intended but didn't receive quantity ordered
Product works just as intended however package was cut open when I received it and I was missing one of the pieces. Tried working through Amazon to get a replacement and they force you to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer has yet to get back to me on a replacement.

Much better that what the trailer had
A recently purchased motorcycle trailer had some existing clips that were just too hard to clip and unclip. These will maintain the chan position and have a much larger open so I can quickly unclip them. Good finis and look to be stronger than the originals. Great value for the money, too.

They are okay for the price
The opening spring sometimes moves around resulting in the carabiner hook to come open which could be dangerous while towing. Being Curt brand I expected a little better quality in these, but having any kind of safety hooks are better than none at all especially for not breaking your pockets.
