I nearly did not go ahead with this purchase because of one reviewer who said the mat arrived damaged due to poor packing. But as this mat was wanted for a particular purpose and seemed to be ideal for my needs, I decided to contact the company & query their delivery methods, quoting the bad review. After speaking to the company who sell this mat, I was informed that they would never pack these mats in the way this reviewer said they did. They told me that several other companies sold the same type of mat and there was some false reviews to try and promote their product over other sellers. So with this information, I went ahead & ordered. The delivery was very quick (2 days from order placement) and as far as packing was concerned, the mat arrived rolled up as all mats should & encased in thick black plastic sealed at both ends with a cable tie. Under this wrapping was a bubble wrap type product to protect the mat further and under this wrapping, the mat was enclosed in shrink wrapped bands. So I can confirm that this mat does come very well packaged. Now to the mat itself. It is rubber backed as described and the pile of the carpet is fairly short but quite closely packed so would appear to be hard wearing. The colour was quite close to the original photo bearing in mind it is being reproduced on your computer screen so the depth of colour, contrast etc would make the photo appear slightly different on any screen. The actual colour was as described. Now to the thickness of the mat. It is as other reviewers have said, fairly thin compared to some mats but the actual pile is of good quality. This is actually not a disadvantage. Quite the opposite, it has advantages over the more traditional rug type mats as it lies very flat on the floor & is almost impossible to trip over.For some this would not be an issue but I know that there are many applications where this type of mat would be ideal. For instance, I care for someone with co ordination difficulties due to disability. Social services insisted I removed all or the rug type mats around the house as they could be a trip hazard. Not so with these mats. The rubber backing extends beyond the pile of the carpet and forms a border which makes for a very smooth transition between the original floor & these mats. This is ideal for anyone who may be blind, elderly or infirm as they are far less likely to trip on this type of rubber backed mat. They also are easy to negotiate for anyone using a walking aid or wheelchair. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has an elderly relative, very young child or someone disabled in the household. For everyone else, they are a relatively cheap, easy to lay mat good for carpet protection in high traffic areas or as in my case, to go over my wooden floors. These look great but at night sound like you are tap dancing in clogs when you walk on them. These mats give good sound deadening to laminate flooring & are much warmer underfoot.

This item is just perfect for the dinning room end of the lounge in front of the patio doors, it helps with whatever is brought in from the garden to keep it in one place and is easy to clean especially when the dog is in and out during the winter months. Very pleased with this item and the colour brown fits the décor. It arrived on time and well packed. Would totally recommend. Thank you for an excellent service and item. 👍

Quality is good and although I had to trim the rubber edge off, to fit the entrance to my hallway it all held together. My problem is , as other reviewers have reported, the mat is not stable on previously laid carpet. Mine is coire matting so I think I will have to remove it, raise the level with mdf sheeting and install on that. Probably reinforced with non slip tape underneath. Otherwise no problems with the product.

wanted a new mat for inside the front door,it arrived in a good time and is exactly as described,the price was reasonable when compared to other online sites or high street shops and delivered to your door as well,what more could you ask,as we have had this for only a short period of time i can't say how well it will stand up to hard usage but i will adjust my review if i find any fault with said item,at the moment i am happy with the product.Someone asked if this type of mat could be cut to fit.I purchased a longer version of this and have cut it to fit around cupboards in the kitchen. Because it is rubber backed, and the pile is set in the rubber it can be cut to fit. I cant say that all makes of this type of mat are suitable to cut though, just this particular brand. Hope this helps someone.I have had this mat for over a year and still looks good and is doing the job it was bought for.a good product and would recommend to anyone.

Great mat does the job of keeping the spread of the outside grime being brought into the home. Stays in place and easy to clean .Very good value and good delivery.

The mat arrived 10 days after ordering and paying for it, and 7 days after being informed that it had been dispatched. The same mat was available more cheaply on Amazon but I bought this mat on the basis of a reviewer who said that it came extremely well wrapped. It didn't. It came rolled up and wrapped in what I would describe as a very cheap, flimsy bin liner. The type you get in the pound shops. It was cellotaped at the ends. As there were rips to the sides and ends of the plastic I took photos before opening it in case the mat itself was ripped or torn. Thankfully it wasn't but I would say this was just down to luck because it certainly wasn't down to the quality of the wrapping. The mat itself is ok. a bit lighter and thinner than I was expecting but I'l see how it lasts.

I ordered 2 of these mats for both doors to stop the dirt being trailed through the house. When I ordered them I didn't expect them to be as sturdy as others because of the price, however I was pleasantly suprised and would recommend them to anyone. They are hard wearing and don't move around the floor like other mats that are advertised at a much higher price! Brilliant!

This rug is of very good quality and is a great size but I did find it didn't stay in one place and I was always having to straighten it. Packaged extremely well and efficient delivery.

The mat is soft to walk on and easy to clean.
